Not just another IT consulting company…
Here are 4 things we do differently at Simbus.
IT consulting companies in India are a dime a dozen, ranging from large global organizations to start ups with niche focus areas. Broadly speaking, these companies partner with clients and advise them on the use of information technology either to overcome specific business challenges and/or help meet business objectives more efficiently.
But with so many companies on the rise, how do you choose one over the others? Finding a perfect fit is essential to successful IT integration and implementation. Some of the important things to consider are domain knowledge, experience, portfolio, credentials, references, style of working and last but not least, your project requirements.
What we do –
We focus on retail and consumer goods technology with the purpose of uplifting and enabling Indian brands and retailers to compete with global brands and meet the rapidly changing consumer’s demands.
We consult, implement and support our customers by delivering innovative solutions that streamline every stage of business from concept to shelf and transform the way products are designed, manufactured and marketed.
As a team, we have decades of domain expertise, technical experience and implementation skills delivering solutions in areas of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), 3D Apparel Design, Merchandise Planning, BI and Analytics to help clients stay ahead in a dynamic and ever-evolving retail and fashion industry.
How we do it –
At Simbus, we are extremely process- driven and have a unique way of approaching a project, from start to finish.
1. Deep Assessment of Requirements and Business Impact
As part of our Pre-sales Engagement, even before the contract is signed, we conduct a Product Maturity Assessment (PMA) and a Business Value Assessment (BVA) for the client.
What is PMA?
Product Maturity Assessment (PMA) is essentially a detailed assessment of existing processes, across the company, in comparison to the best in class, made through numerous meetings and discussions with the client.
Areas of assessment include:
· Internal Collaboration
· Process Management
· Quality Management
· IT Maturity
· Costing
· Bidding processes & many more
Next, we prepare a Business Transformation Roadmap with key deliverables and defined timelines. The PMA report has a detailed proposal of key process changes, department wise and the business impact of these changes.
What is BVA?
Business Value Assessment (BVA) follows a 4-step approach
1. Defining the process As-Is
2. Benchmarking with global standards
3. Identifying improvement areas
4. Quantifying the likely business benefits along with project ROI
At this stage we identify possible quantifiable benefits in terms of business metrics and conclude with a business case for our recommended solution.
The 2 stages of Pre-Sales Management help a client understand his/her need further and get to know the business impact of implementing our solution. So, at the pre-sales stage itself, the client gets a clear view of what the ROI would look like.
2. Deliver Customized Solutions
As soon as the contract is signed, our consultants work with the client over discussions and meetings to further understand and refine his/her requirements. This is an important step in the process which other IT consultants often leave out.
Our Tech Design team then works with the client to customize the solution according to the client’s pre-existing systems, keeping in mind the boundaries and scalability of the solution for the client. This is largely possible as the technologies we offer are highly flexible and scalable depending on the size of the company and requirements of the client.
When the design is finalized, our Tech Realization developers work to build the solution as per the agreed specifications.
3. Robust Project Management
From the start and scoping phase to monitoring and delivery of the project, we follow a highly structured approach and processes which help in managing the deliverables of the project.
While the project is being executed, we employ various collaboration and new age project management tools to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
We also have regular (weekly/daily) scrum meetings to make sure the developers and consultants are aligned and committed to the timelines of the project.
4. Customer/ User Advocacy Modeland Audit Reports
After the solution goes live, we have our in-house Customer/User Advocacy Model, where we regularly monitor how the solution is being used and adapted by our client and advise him/her on the usage of the solution so as to get more benefit from it.
This is implemented through
1. Training sessions workshops
2. User helpdesk
3. Quick resolution of tickets
4. A 3-tiered support structure
Finally, we send monthly process audits to our client covering all user departments and monthly audit reports on the ‘Voice of Customer’ to enhance the adoption of the solution.
At Simbus, we value each and every client and are dedicated to fulfilling the client’s needs and requirements. Customer Satisfaction is what drives us and we strive hard to excel, every time.
Our proven delivery model and engagement approach has enabled us to establish ourselves as a credible partner of choice for leading companies in the fashion, consumer goods and retail industries.
